81 filename team 'C:\mysaslib\team';
82 data group;
83 infile team;
84 input name $15. age 2.;
85 file 'C:\mysaslib\team_text';
86 put name $15. +5 age 2.;
NOTE: The infile TEAM is:
RECFM=V,LRECL=256,File Size (bytes)=76,
NOTE: The file 'C:\mysaslib\team_text' is:
RECFM=V,LRECL=256,File Size (bytes)=0,
NOTE: 4 records were read from the infile TEAM.
The minimum record length was 17.
The maximum record length was 17.
NOTE: 4 records were written to the file 'C:\mysaslib\team_text'.
The minimum record length was 22.
The maximum record length was 22.
NOTE: The data set WORK.GROUP has 4 observations and 2 variables.
NOTE: DATA statement used (Total process time):
real time 0.05 seconds
cpu time 0.04 seconds
Here, a DATA statement and FILE statement are both used in the program. Thus, in the output both a dataset and a file are created. For the dataset, an INPUT statement is used to read the values from the file TEAM. A PUT statement will be used to write values to the output file. Option C is correct here.
The one and only FREE resource for general SAS online training as well as study guides for the SAS Base Certification. My goal is to create the SAS Certification prep guide that I never found but always wanted. This should also be a place to come if you are new to the language but are simply looking for online SAS training.
