170 data allobs;
171 set sasdata.origin (firstobs = 75 obs = 499);
NOTE: There were 425 observations read from the data set SASDATA.ORIGIN.
NOTE: The data set WORK.ALLOBS has 425 observations and 11 variables.
NOTE: DATA statement used (Total process time):
real time 0.02 seconds
cpu time 0.01 seconds
When the statement set sasdata.origin (firstobs = 75 obs = 499); is used, the FIRSTOBS dataset option causes processing to begin at the specified position. Here, SAS starts processing from the 75th observation. The OBS dataset option causes processing to end with the specified observation. Here, SAS will stop processing after the 499th observation. A total of 425 observations are processed so option B correct.
The one and only FREE resource for general SAS online training as well as study guides for the SAS Base Certification. My goal is to create the SAS Certification prep guide that I never found but always wanted. This should also be a place to come if you are new to the language but are simply looking for online SAS training.
